Will Sai and Biju cross paths and learn things from each other? Will they be able to gain things from one another's experience? I think that this might be possible. What kind of things do you think that they would learn from one another if they did meet, and how do you think their relationship would function?

Biju really reminds me of Sai. I'm not exactly sure why, but there seems to be some similarity between them.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be their determination to improve that binds them together in my mind. Or maybe it is their flexibility with life. They both seem to function no matter what happens to the conditions around them.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Makeena. I do think Sai and Biju are somehow similar. I think they both in a way want the same things for their lives. They want to know many things and ideas about life and experience life as they should, if that makes any sense. They both seem to be curious about their lives and how they can somehow make it better.
ReplyDeleteIt's also true that they seem to really adjust to the conditions around them. Like Biju living in America and having to move from restaruant to restaurant. He just adjusts to any position he's thrown into. Sai also seems to adjust to conditions quite well and is always curious about finding out about peoples past. They both seem to be comfortable in their own skin, and not afraid to try something new and different.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think their conversation would intail? What do you think they would talk about if they did ever meet?
I think that if Biju and Sai ever did meet that they would talk about their dreams and what they'd like to do with their lives and become. I think that Sai would talk about her dreams with her love life, and her dreams of succeeding out of the life she was granted. I think that Biju would talk about his career hopes and aspirations.
ReplyDeleteTo attempt and answer my own question I think that they would learn that there is a universal quality in people. There are people of all types who are striving for transformation of some kind.
ReplyDeleteI also think that Biju and Sai would talk about their common qualities, the condition of the judge, and how India has changed since Biju left. I think that their conversation might abe helpful for both characters, and also help to strengthen the character development for the readers (US). What do you think?
